I've seen some people on my social media feeds complaining about how you don't need a new year to be able to make resolutions and goals. That may be true, but to me a new year represents a new start.
I'm starting off the new year with a few new goals for my photography business. This is year no. 4 of my small business endeavors and I'm looking to take my entrepreneurship to the next level. I'd like to expand my services this year to selling photoshop actions, selling prints, and offering mentor sessions. I'd also love to start up my own clothing line with my best friend and stylist, Sarah Jordan. You can expect to see me updating this blog very regularly with tutorials, advice, reviews, giveaways, and lots of other fun stuff. I'd even like to go as far as exploring the options of videography, wedding planning, and even graphic design in 2014.
I remember as 2013 was starting, I said, "2013 is going to be my year!" ...and to be honest, it wasn't. I've realized now though, that you can't sit and wait for great things to happen. You've got to go out and make things happen! So that is what I will be doing to my full extent for the next 361 days left of this year.
